Fundraising
A placement with The Humanity Exchange will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life, and a true investment in your personal learning. In order to fund your program, beyond personal contributions, you can consider fundraising, grants, and scholarships to help finance your program. The program fee enables us to provide you with the highest possible level of support, ensure quality in our programming, and avoid burdening our partners with financial demands. To learn more about why we charge a program fee, read The Cost of Doing Good.
With careful planning, creativity, and commitment to your goal, you can fundraise enough to cover program fees, airfare, and more. Donors will be satisfied to know that their money has far-reaching benefits. They are enabling you to have an incredible learning and life-changing experience, and they are positively contributing to communities in need through your actions. All participants receive a fundraising kit when preparing to go abroad. It will provide you with advice, direction, and ideas for fundraising in your community. Furthermore, we recommend you to start a blog so that sponsors can see for themselves all of the great things you are doing. Visit Volunteer Blogs to see some examples.

College & University Students
If you are a college or university student, check to see if your school has any financial support. A placement with The Humanity Exchange demonstrates ambition, leadership, and global citizenship. Often schools will support this financially. If you are earning course credit by doing an Internship Abroad with The Humanity Exchange, this increases the likelihood of financial support from your school.
If you are a working professional, ask your employer what they do to support volunteerism. Making them aware of what you are doing may encourage them to contribute financially to your endeavour.
