Tailored Focus
We place volunteers and interns in positions that our partners have requested to have filled. However, we also have a Tailored focus, in which we create opportunities based on a combination of your interests and our partners’ needs. This is a wonderful part of our programming, as it allows for innovation and versatility. We can develop a placement taking your specific desired focus into account, turn an innovative idea into a reality, or facilitate a placement for your small group.
If you would like to volunteer or intern with a specific focus that is not listed in our current opportunities, let us know. We just might have an opportunity that reflects what you are looking for. Or, if you have a great idea that could be effectively applied in development, don’t be shy; contact us. We are inspired by the people who approach us with their unique ideas, and we would love to hear from you. If your idea is feasible, and would be beneficial to one of our partners, we will work with you to turn your idea into a reality.
If you would like to arrange Volunteer Abroad placements for a small group, we would be happy to coordinate this. Volunteering with a group from home is an amazing experience. While every group member will have unique experiences, you will be there to offer support and work with one another. We will work with you and design a volunteer placement specialized to the needs of your group.
